With 15 years of IT industry experience Andreas has been evangelizing x86 virtualization since early 2003 and provides pre-sales technical consultancy to clients at senior influencer and CXO level.
“Over the years I’ve had the privilege to lead projects involving all aspects of the ever increasing solution stack of virtualization – from VMware, Virtuozzo and Virtual Iron to Hyper-V, XenServer and KVM – from early consolidation projects to optimization of virtual desktop infrastructures and enablement of cloud computing.
In my current role as worldwide community lead and IBM Cloud Ambassador I work closely with the various virtualization vendors and provide consultancy to our key clients in strategy workshops, architectural design engagements or executive client briefings across Europe.”
Andreas is a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (CEng IET), a Chartered IT professional of the British Computer Society (MBSC CITP), a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) for ESX2, VI3 and vSphere.
He has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences in over 20 countries across the world, including VMworld 2006, 2007 and 2011. Major technical publication include IBM Redbooks, various technology papers and he has international patents to his name.
